ALL THINGS JEWELS - July Newsletter

Hello everyone.

Welcome to the Sorrell Jewels July Newsletter 💖

Last month was as busy as ever and I can’t wait to share with you guys all the exciting things I’ve been up to ☺️

On Monday I returned from a family holiday in Greece. This was a much needed break and gave me some time to most importantly rest and also reflect on the year so far 🌟 I’ve been thinking lots about parts of Sorrell Jewels, and things that I want to do slightly differently. You’ll have to watch this space to find out more 🥰

It really feels like summer is in full swing and I’m looking forward to all the markets I’ve got coming up in July and August 🛍 All dates and information can be found on where to find my travelling circus of jewels at the bottom of the newsletter!

The June Ring Box

This months themed ring box was an absolute hit and I’m pleased to say it was actually the most successful monthly drop for Sorrell Jewels EVER 🎉 Inspired by the June 2021 Shell themed ring box, I wanted to take things a step further and experiment with the theme of the SEASIDE 🐚 This twist went down a treat and I want to say a massive thank you to each and every one of you guys that made a purchase 💖

If you still want to get your hands on a seaside jewel, there are still some one-off beauties on the Sorrell Jewels website. Check out my favourites down below!

Work is well underway for the July PRIDE themed ring box and I can’t wait to start sharing the first sneak peeks in the next few days (there may even be one at the bottom of the newsletter) 💎 Spoiler alert it is going to be the most funky, colourful and glitzy ring box yet! Dropping at 8pm, 31st July on the Sorrell Jewels website 💍

Markets, Pop Ups

& All Things IRL

Over the last month I’ve taken part in two fantastic pop up events ☺️ Firstly was the amazing Don’t Shop Swap IRL event, the pop up featured loads of amazing small businesses and preloved brands. I was joined by my cousin Sophie who creates amazing colourful crochet designs and it was a great day for both of us!

Next up was the Parsons Green Village fair which was a lovely sunshine filled day in South London. Afterwards I was able to head into central and celebrate pride with my friends which made it a fantastic weekend 🏳️‍🌈

July Small Biz Obession

For this month's Small Biz Obsession I want to talk to you guys about jewellery designer Rosyln.

I first met Rosyln at @asouthlondonmakersmarket event we were both taking part in. We instantly hit it off due to our mutual love of jewellery and decided to gift each other a ring.

All of the jewellery she creates is handmade from glass, bent and manipulated into beautiful abstract shapes. I highly recommend checking out her instagram to watch the making process as it is fascinating.

What I love about Rosyln’s work and this style of jewellery is the contrast in texture and shape. Not only is it beautiful but it is also art in itself, and they compliment Sorrell Jewels rings perfectly.

Recently, when I visited her at a market I purchased these light pink floral hoop earrings and I am OBSESSED. How good do they look alongside a cheeky sneak peek of some of the July Box rings!
