Before You Start: Top Tips
Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are warm and at their fullest size.
Avoid measuring when your hands feel cold, hungry, or even slightly dehydrated, these can make your finger smaller.
Choose the finger and hand you’ll usually wear the ring on; dominant hands can be slightly larger.
Step-by-Step Measuring Guide
Wrap the strip of paper or string around the base of your finger.
Make sure it’s snug but not tight, still able to move it over your knuckle.
Mark or hold the spot where the ends meet.
3. Measure the marked length with a ruler (in millimetres).
4. Compare your measurement to the chart below
👉 For example, 55 mm should be a UK size M / US 6.
What If You’re Between Sizes?
If you're between two sizes, go up for comfort, especially for wider rings (5–8 mm bands).
Choose snug (tighter) for narrow bands or statement rings with profile design.
Avoid estimating, always double-check with a measuring strip.
